If you are always scouring the net for news, you have no doubt run into web pages that insist that you "register" to access their web page. Haven't they heard: news wants to be free! FREE! And, if you have to give them your email address, it isn't free.

A few months back, the California courts held that you could only home school your own kids if you held a teaching certificate. Now, the same court has reversed itself following significant outcry.

Apple Store "Updating" - New iPhone imminent?

As of 8:00 am, the Apple Store online now gives a message that says "We'll be back soon". Historically, what this means is that Apple is about to announce new products, and the web store will have them available right away (or at least lots of details).

Ok... slender is one thing. Vanishingly slim is another. Why do women feel like they have to be a size Zero to look good? Cast my vote in the "size zero" is not attractive camp. If I was dating, I would want a woman who was "normal", not freakish.

More information for your iPhone junkies. Looks like the new iPhone will have a glass surface on the face (instead of plastic) so that it will be more scatch resistant. Also, the talk time is rated at 9 hours. Remarkable.
